It all started when two high school students decided to join forces to create a high school meme account on the social media platform of Instagram. Now as college students, Karisa Toy and Yui Sato founded Crazy Asian Foodies in November of 2018. ​Currently, Karisa is studying abroad for a year in Paris as part of USC's Transfer Program, majoring in communications with a minor in film and television program. Yui is studying at UW-Madison with a major in neurobiology on the pre-medicine track and a declared certificate in gender, women studies. Growing up in the bustling city of Los Angeles, they enjoy checking out new food places as well as going to Disneyland every other weekend.
